Finally-- a sci fi movie that appeals to all audiences! You don't have to be a trekkie to fall in love with the characters of this film, but a even a seasoned fan can leave satisfied that the integrity of the orginal was not only preserved, but accentuated by great special effects, and a contemporary cast. Humor, action, drama, suspense, and just great writing... I never thought it would be in prequel/ sequel? to Star Trek. I grew up with my dad watching this series, and I never thought I'd say it, but I'd definitely see it again in the theatres. In fact, I can see a whole new generation of fans develop if they keep this going.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
