First let me say, I'm a huge Indy fan. I came into this movie with really high hopes and I can say that it was almost everything I wanted. It was tough getting used to Russians and not Germans, but this is a fast forward from Last Crusade. At least they tried to compensate for the age difference.
Harrison Ford was awesome. Totally sank right back into it. It was also a little different in so far as its a paranormal and not a religious artifact like the arc or the grail, but its no less fun as a result of it.
Tons of good old fashioned stunt work, car chases, and knock-down drag-out fist fighting. While it didn't have the magic chemistry of Connery and Ford, it still ranks up right next to the Last Crusade as my 2nd favorite installment next to Raiders. Lots of good comic relief and really good side jokes from the other movies.
