With Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America all being 2 hour previews for The Avengers, the movie pays off greatly. Even though it had problems with character motivation, pathos and deep messages (a la its box office competition on July 20th) I wouldn't be lying if I said the second and third act kicked so much ass. It's a great roller coaster ride at the movies and a great way to kick off the summer. Be sure to stay until the very end of the credits.
