We took our 51/2 year old, and felt that this movie had too much violence in it. Although the message/theme of the movie is good, I would not recommend it for children under the age of 9. I was very surprised to see so many reviews stating that the movie was great for kids of all ages--my daughter was scared and confused much of the time.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
