Yes, you do have to be an Abba fan to love this movie...and in looking at the 99% female viewers at the theater I attended--yes, this is probably a chick flick....but what a feast for eyes and ears.
I can't believe I'm saying this was even better than the stage show...despite Pierce Brosnan's well-maligned singing...hey, he wasn't completly awful and he's still great to look at. The on-location filming in Greece put this one over the top for me.

Meryl Streep again showed why she is a great actress. Her rendition of Winner Takes it All brought tears to my eyes....I've never heard it sung so well.
My only disappointment was the audience who sat around like stones at the end and didn't get up and dance and sing as they were leaving as occurred when I saw the theater production. Maybe pump up the volume a bit at the end..it was pretty tame.
Great Great movie. Nice watching for mother and daughters.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Surprise, it was great

Never heard of Iron Man but friends liked the movie and on a slow day, decided to see it. ..Loved it. Lots of action but not over the top...reality and believability were retained and the movie did not turn into a cartoon fantasy. Robert Downey was extraordinary.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
