Terrific movie!

Hellboy 2 was a great combination of action, humor and even romance (thankfully not too suggestive or raunchy). As others might have said, it was a good continuation from the first Hellboy. All the main characters were appropriately fleshed out and the introduction of the ectoplasmic expert was excellent! The special effects and the fantastic creatures were a visual smorgasborg! Can't wait for Hellboy 3!

smart and funny

Steve Carell is perfectly cast as Maxwell Smart and Anne Hathaway complements his performance as Agent 99. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson plays up his supercool image with his Agent 23 role. Of course, I can't forget Alan Arkin who is quite funny as The Chief. All in all, a very funny fim and although a bit predictable, it is a popcorn movie all the way! I'd give it two thumbs WAY UP!!!
