This documentary provides an extraordinary chance to see the creative process of three of the leading guitarists from the last 40 years -- Jimmy Page, the Edge, and Jack White. Their lives, how they grew to love the guitar, their musical roots, and how they approach their instruments to get their distinctive voices. Watching them sit together and share is a treat -- I especially loved seeing Jack and the Edge watch Page play Whole Lotta Love with sly smiles like any fan would have had. This is a real treat!
This film has a big heart. An over-the-hill professor rediscovers his feelings after an unlikely friendship develops with an illegal immigrant couple. The political message develops over the course of events and you will leave the theater touched and a bit angry. Solid script and excellent performances in this entertaining and thoughtful picture.
