The negative reviews that I have read on this site really are way off. This movie is pure entertainment. It is funny. The visuals and sounds are intense. Ed Norton is a fantastic actor as Dr. Banner. No, it does not have some of the depth of Spiderman or the more recent Batman(s) with C. Bale, but the character of the Hulk has never really been about that, from my read of the comics. It is also great to see Marvel finally doing some tie ins together with the movies, perhaps to set the stage for the Avengers(?) or, maybe even the Secret Wars! I think any fan of comics and Marvel will enjoy this film. Don't expect Citizen Kane, just be ready to go on a thrill ride.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
