Good....but had it's problems

I liked this movie and would recommend it. I really liked the acting, the suspense and surprises. Unfortunately, the story line had some holes. For example what was the ghosts connection to the townspeople and why did they stayed when they knew there children were in danger? I think the story could have been developed better. But overall it was good and creepy.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I had doubts about seeing this movie after reading the reviews from both citics and viewers. The original is one of my favorite movies, so my expectations of the remake were low. I was pleasantly surprised that I liked the movie. The special effects and the acting were good. It may not be the best movie of the year, but I was entertained and did not feel that I wasted my money.

The movie was good.....but not as good as the first one. The movie's tone was on the darker side, which was fine, but somehow the childeren's characters seemed dull and lacking the charm they had in the first one. It is almost as if they didn't belong in this movie. Even so, it was a good movie and worth seeing.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
