I am a RE fan. I love the game and enjoyed the first 2 movies. However, aside from a few cool 3D special effects, this was a terrible movie. The acting was painful to watch and the plot was bad. I enjoyed the blood but beyond that, if you hate cheesy catch-phrases and one-liners, if you hate MTV, if you hate over-acting and movies filled with over-the-top drama and ill-placed smirks, or if you are older than 16, this movie is not for you.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Scariest movie I have ever seen. As a fan of all things horror and suspense, I can honestly say that this movie was truly frightening. There was a scene where my eyes welled up and I felt as though I was about to cry and every hair on my body stood straight up. I felt traumatized walking out of the theater. A very simple movie and that is why it works! It was fantastic! A perfect Fall/Halloween movie! Go see it!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
