Confusing for newbies

Could anyone who hasn't read HP and the Deathly Hallows understand this movie? I saw it at 12:01am, then at 8:30pm opening day, and only understood it the second time because I'd read the books and saw the previous movies. It's very dark both in photography and mood. Hermine and Mundungous slur their words -- the sound quality of the dialogue could be much better. And do NOT take little kids -- the snake attacks are horrifying. Still, for HP fans, it is a must see, and worth the money.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Wonderful movie, lousy sound

The camera work, lighting, and set designs in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince will win every movie award given this year. They are superb! I liked the moody overtones in the lighting -- sepia for Harry, blue for "evil", swirling ink blobs.
However, somebody please get these teenager actors to speak DISTINCTLY! They mumble, barely moving their lips. The sound in the movie was abysmal.
Rupert is a stone face, but we love him anyway. "Lavender" stole every scene.
Writing the screenplay for such a huge, complex book had to be a challenge. I've already seen it 3 times, and will get the video asap.
Just get those actors some ELOCUTION lessons, please!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
