Exciting, suspenseful, awesome visual effects and a very reasonable plot. If you want to be well entertained for 2.5 hours this is a movie you should see. I find it amazing that some people have written that ther is no plot ! This is a story of the world comming to an end and the plot is how a certain family struggles to survive.
There are practically NO boring moments. It is non stop action that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I had reservations about giong to this movie because of some of the reviews. If I had known "2012" was going to be this good I would have certainly have made a special plan to see it. If you liked "Independance Day" and "Jurassic Park" you probably will love this movie
