Usually an action movie = lots of action, not much plot. Now this didn't have the most imaginative plot in the world but there was one! There was awesome fighting scenes, lots of gun fights, and a pretty nice little story to follow along. Plus you get to see Steve Austin fight Randy Couture which you will NEVER see in any MMA or Wrestling match.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I thought this movie followed the comic books better then the cartoon does. The characters do have a bit of a different attitude then you would see in the cartoon, but again it was based on the comic books NOT the cartoon. It followed the book very well. The 3D was a total waste of money and you missed out on the beautiful colors of the environments with the "dulling" the 3d glasses gave off. Overall, a very good movie. If you are expecting it to be like the cartoon you might be a bit disappointed.

I have 4 boys ages 12, 6, 5, and 2. The 12 and the 5 year old are Autistic so picking movies they will all enjoy is sometimes difficult. They all laughed and joked and the whole way home were doing the "HI-Yas" at the top of their lungs. It had a great story line of beleiving in yourself even if no one else does which I found to be very effective on the 2 oldest. Overall this was surprisingly one of my favorite movies to bring them to!
