Absolutely Outstanding

While I enjoyed Batman Begins, it was honestly not my favorite. I was almost dragged into the movie theater by friends at midnight. When The Dark Night ended, I gladly joined the standing ovation that the 500 people in the crowd had started. From start to finish, this movie is incredible. Christian Bale delivers a better performance than the first, and other cast members such as Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman are also good, but Heath Ledger, may he rest in peace, was absolutely stunning. Without giving anything away, it is hard to describe some of his best moments. The only words I can say are go see it, because I believe that his performance as the Joker could easily be nominated for an Academy Award, and it would be a shame for anybody to miss this exquisite piece of acting.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
