Not for true X-Philes

While this was a decent film as a standalone, it left a lot to be desired from the people who really wanted this to be in the style of the series we all loved. Chris Carter missed his mark when he thought that, I assume, he would create a new batch of X-Philes from this film.
The characters had some interesting engagements in the first twenty minutes, but there were just SO many unanswered questions and loose ends.
If you're looking for a mild thriller with very few twists, a bit of a morality play, or are going to see this film just because it is X-Files, then be prepared for it. Its not a blockbuster or edge of your seat thriller (like the first X-Files film). Its, at best, a two-part episode,
