I liked it. I wouldn't consider myself a full on Trek nerd, but I'd have to say that this movie makes me want to research (rent DVDs) the Star Trek series. The Vulcan civilization comes across as helpless which is the only part I didn't like in the movie. Other than that, this movie is great for all to see.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Plan and simple, YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS MOVIE! Christopher Nolan puts together great movies and this one is no exception.
