If you haven't read the book, I highly suggest you read it before seeing this movie. The story line will make a lot more sense with the substance of the book behind it. That being said you don't HAVE to read it to enjoy the movie, you just might need a friend to fill in some of the holes. The movie was great and visually outstanding...I would definitely see it again!
