After all the hype about this movie, we couldn't wait to see it. It did have some interesting parts although the story was pale and simplistic and the acting was not the greatest. All of the buzz is about the special effects but I didn't appreciate them.
I kept trying to compare to other Si-Fi films like Star Wars, Jurassic Park, lord of the rings and so on and no comparison... Even special effects did not compare to those. So I just don’t get it.
