Fell Short of What It Could Have Been

In almost all regards, I felt Revenge of the Fallen fell far short of the movie it could have been. All the human characters reprise their roles and we are treated to a slew of new Transformers, who, sadly, are never given a chance to develop into memorable characters. The acting was on par with the first film and, as always, my hat is off to Industrial Light & Magic,who did an amazing job bringing the Transformers and other special effects, to life. The writing on Revenge of the Fallen felt less tight than the first film, and the writers seemed to shoehorn in comedy where they could, mostly, to ill timed effect. As a whole, I wanted to like this film, but found it fell short of what could have been one of the better movies this summer.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
