It is truly sad that many young people of this generation don't remember "Casablanca" or "Gone With the Wind." Those films portrayed characters that sacrifice everything for love “in worlds in turmoil.” The two Twilight films are slow, pondering, and pandering. Point in fact: We see more mens' chests in these movies than an Abercrombie catalog so we know who is buying all of the tickets. New Moon is also a class movie. The Wolfmen clearly represent blue collar & minority hunks and the Vampires represent the snobby and indolent upper class. There is one bright point: I like the Doctor Vampire. He should have his own series, "Dr. Vampire!"
