SATC2 - fun but disappointing

I am a HUGE SATC fan - I have been waiting and waiting for this movie, watching the trailer a million times, pre-ordered the soundtrack (equally disappointing) and even hosted a cocktail party for my girls before we went to see the much awaited sequel. The first movie moved me, I cried and laughed and loved it SO much but I walked out of this movie and sort of felt....wanting something different. I was so bummed, the characters sort of seemed like cartoons and the connection was sort of lost. It was fun and I loved the fashion, maybe I need to see it again...
Yes, I recommend this movie.
