Better than I expected

From the cocky confidence of the rebelious Kirk, the cantanerous grumbling of Bones and inner struggle of being half human in Spock...the characters were nailed. Sexy Uhura and zany Scotty included. Great and completely plausable time warp angle and a suprise romance. Add those factors to some spectacular effects and this one outpaces all othe other Trek flicks to date. If you are worried about the PG 13 rating for the kids...then don't take the kids to the beach.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Unexpectedly Intertaining

It was better than I was expecting it to be. This rendition of Iron man takes a complete removal from the comic book and really makes it work.
The effects are excellent and lack the cheese of a lot of recent CGI flicks.
Suspend disbelief, sit down and enjoy. Be prepared to laugh as well. This is one of the best " escape" movies I have seen in a long time.
