Disorganized, Bad Timing, Bad Taste

I've been a huge fan of the RHPS for years. I saw it for the first time in a theater as a teen in the East Village. It was an amazing experience. This past weekend, I took my girlfriend to see the show for the first time live. This group of kids has absolutely no idea what they're doing with the Rocky Horror Picture Show. They make everyone wait outside the theater until 15 minutes after the show is scheduled to start and then host a ridiculous dance party in the front of the theater that has absolutely nothing to do with the Rocky experience. Rafael (one of the cast members), should never be allowed to hold a microphone again. He spent 20 minutes with the microphone shoved all the way into his mouth, screaming nonsense in a way that was impossible to understand and actually painful due to the volume and distortion. Go back to doing Rocky Horror the way it's always been done. And start on time! There's no reason to expect a 12am showing to be delayed until 1:30am by the antics of some kids who seem to be compensating for the fact that they'll never land real acting jobs.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
