Great for Kids

Kung Fu Panda, while a safe movie to take the family, left me a bit disappointed. The story line was VERY predictable. With exception of Po, Master Shifu and Tai Lung, the rest of the cast was completely undeveloped. By the end of the movie, you didn't even know their names. (Luckily all you have to do is put "Master" in front of the name of the animal.) There was certainly no connection to any of the other characters. Were it not for the marketing angles, you didn't even need them in the movie. The movie zipped along, had some laugh out loud moments, with Po becoming a Kung Fu master with two days of training? The kids enjoyed the "fat panda" jokes. This will not rank among our favorite 20 animated movies.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
