Well written, witty dialogue. A bit dark, but the contrast between darkness and light works. The two sides of good and evil are ever present in this movie. I felt empathy for many of the characters in this film. The concept of what has historically been considered an evil being, wanting to not be evil and through self discipline control the evil within was refreshing. For me, it was a paradigm of man, who can be evil, and the struggle to do what is right in an age where anything goes. I enjoyed this movie with my 17 yr old daughter. I liked the fact that there was no bad language, drinking, drugs, nudity and the like.
Absolutely Risqué, and hilarious! Adam Sandler has truly transcended all boundaries of decency and there are no holds barred in this cheesy, cute and delightfully funny film. There is a message in this film that could be easily missed, regarding culture stereotypes and racism in our country. A tiny glimpse of how "Big Business" uses fear and hate to perpetuate ignorance in our society in order to profit. Loved it!
