There were a few parts that I thought were pretty well portrayed. However, overall, the movie was kind of lame and dissapointing. The entire climax at the end of the movie seemed way too rushed. The movie was about 1.5 hours long; if they had done a little more with the climax, they could have made the movie 1.75 hours like most movies are right now, and it would have added a bit more to the movie as a whole.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

This movie was AWESOME!! I agree with some of the other reviewers; if I could change anything, I would make the movie longer. They did such an awesome job giving the background information to the story line.

Different from the book, but not in a bad way

Overall, I thought the movie did a really good job portaying the key points of the story. There were a few parts that were added into the movie which never happened in the book or were put at a different point in time (i.e. the overall time frame of her living in Forks, the point within the story in which certain characters are introduced, etc), and the special effects were a bit cheesy... However, overall, the movie was awesome and I will definitely be looking out for New Moon to hit theaters!!
