How disappointing. The story line was thin, characters left undeveloped and ending left much to be desired.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

This movie made me cry, dance, clap and laugh. This is a tasteful, awesome and exciting depiction of the genius of MIchael Jackon. An inspiration. Many songs displaying that he still had the moves and the voice and was so very involved in every aspect of the production of the show. What a tragedy that we cannot experience the end result of his genius for one more time.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Big Time Disappointment

Maybe I was too ready to be swept away by the tear-provoking ending I'd heard so much about, even brought tissues! I was prepared to enjoy this movie but the characters lacked depth, the plot never developed and the action was too disjointed. The "disappearance" sequences were corny and way too unbelievable for me. Perhaps if you saw this movie with your hope-to-be significant other your emotional state would be more accepting. Seeing it with a best friend didn't cut it. Save your money.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Too Confusing

Even the duo of Owen and Roberts couldn't save this one. The switchbacks in time were too distracting and the plot was so loosely constructed that there was no cohesion in the characterization of the main actors. The ending was too limp to be a true surprise. I was very disappointed. Wait for the DVD.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

IMAX Disappointment

Even though I wore the special 3-D glasses, kept them on for the entire movie, and was proud of looking goofy, I was disappointed with my first IMAX experience. The movie itself was definitely geared toward the very young (I did hear a couple of giggles ) and while there were valuable messages that resonated, Jack Black the Kung Fu Panda wasn't worth the money I paid.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
