Although the plot is somewhat weak, what really saved this movie was the smart choice of Dustin Hoffman for the supporting actor. He was excellent. Emma Thompson gave a convincing performance. I rather enjoyed the movie but I think it is worth it to wait for the DVD and watch it at home.
