Overall I enjoyed the movie. I plan to rent it when I can. Very interesting premise and overall well done.
Three criticisms: 1) My family and I hated the last few seconds of the movie 2) We all had a hard time following the plot, hopefully a second viewing will help 3) Except for DiCaprio, there was NO character development in the movie.
Save your money and time - it would be more enjoyable to hit your head on a brick wall for 2 hours.
The movie is painfully slow and disjointed. Why did it have to be set in 1976? Why did Diaz's accent sound like Texas, that is when she remembered to use it.?
This stinker ranks right next to "Open Water" as the worst movie ever made.
The acrobatic performances were excellent. The "story line" was very strange. The only spoken, understandable line "I'm glad this is a dream, it's weird" pretty well summarizes it.
I wish I could have seen the live show, but since I didn't this wasn't bad.
