not another comic book movie

Christopher Nolan is amazing. He took what would be another comic movie and turned it into a question. A question about who we are as people and the consequences of our choices.
It's action packed from the beginning to the end. I never imagined the incredible twist at the end.
The performances are unbelievable. Christian Bale is probably one of the most under rated actors in the business. He brings a responsibility to Batman that most who have played him do not. The only weakness in his performance I thought was his voice as Batman. It sounded like he was trying.
Heath Ledger was absolutely stellar. A role of lifetime and I cannot imagine some one else attempting to play the Joker after Ledger's performance. I would be intimidated. He brings a comedy as well as horror to the Joker and makes us examine who we really are as people. Such a loss.
All in all amazing performances, coupled with brilliant directing, and major action. Definitely lives up to the hype and worth your 11 bucks.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
