I am actually extremely disappointed with this film . The movie had absolutely nothing to do with the plot of the book. Several main characters such as Clarisse, Dionysus and Ares and major scenes were totally left out while new events were added that were either dull or not even correct by myth. And even the characters that were lucky enough to make it to the screen had totally different personalities which was a shame as well. All the movie showed was a bunch of kids who could swing a sword. I could go on and on but I'm just going to sum it up and say that I don't recommend you to see the movie, but urge you to read the book.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
