We knew the man was a brilliant artist but now we get to see first-hand the hard work that went into looking seamless. Ortega did a great work making footage into a film that will delight fans around the world. Some may find closure, but when one sees him healthy, in perfect voice, and dancing rings around dancers half his age---you are again saddened by the senseless tragedy of his death. But that shouldn't keep you from seeing the film. You will find more joy than sorrow here. Great to see in a theater w/other fans. We clapped at the end of songs, danced in our seats, laughed, and had a great time---because when you think about it----THIS IS IT! The last Michael Jackson concert I'll ever go to and I wouldn't have missed it for the world.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Ok I went with three other ladies and out quartet had a blast. From cheering and crying with the rest of the audience to the lady that was passing out shooters in the theater it was all a ball and the movie was great! You felt like you were being reunited with four friends you hadn't seen in a long while but things were just the same. I had a great time catching up with the girls...but I will say the abundance of product placement was a little over the top. I know when it comes to Hollywood and the scale of a picture gets huge you gotta bring in the sponsors to help pay the bill---but geeze. If I had to see another bottle of Vitamin Water or Glaceau. I was going to scream! And I actually love those products. I just think the placement of many of the products was so over the top and blatant that it detracted a little from everything else going on. From all the Apple laptop and I phones to the awkward mention of Bag, Borrow, or Steal.com (again a site I love), it just got to the point where it seemed like any minute Carry was going to turn to the screen and say, " And what I really learned is you can make it in the big city as long as you have a trusty bottle of Vitamin Water at your side!" But all and all the movie is worth the price of admission! and I'll probably go again! :-)
Yes, I recommend this movie.
