Great Story BUT Some Bad Acting/ Directing

The movie has an amazing story line. However, I felt that the acting or directing was poor in some parts. I was expecting Edward to be more smooth than he was. I understood his characters conflict in the beginning but after a while I wanted him to be more sexy than he was. He lacked the confidence that I wanted him to have. He is abnormally strong and fast so I don't get his "poor puppy dog" act in parts. And Bella drove me nuts in parts. I mean she is in love with a vampire, I think that calls for more emotion and distress. Edward is the lion and Bella is the lamb but it appeared to be the opposite. The only thing that made me want more was the story line.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
