Having seen several productions of Barber over the years in different cities and with different casts, I have to say this performance was one of the liveliest and best. I would echo the person who mentioned the need for an intermission (we'd have had one in the opera house!!) and would add that the sound quality was wonderful. That was my fear about seeing an opera in a movie theater, but there was no need for concern. Great experience!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
