Better than the first!

My friends all complained that nothing major happened. However, I think that it was a better, more meaningful film than the first one. I loved it! I will see it again with another group of friends soon!

Great movie - better than the book

This has been said a lot, but the book, though better than the first, wasn't that great. The movie was much better. Even though it actually followed the book very closely, it worked much better on the screen than in the drawn out book. The acting and direction was better than in the first movie, and I left wanting to see it again. Can't wait for the next movie in the series!

And just like that... a SATC movie

As a loyal fan, I was excited when I heard that there would be a SATCmovie, and for the most part, this movie didn't disappoint. The stories were good, the feel was good. My only complaints were that the movie was a little too long at 2 hours and 15 min. Also, in the first 10-15 minutes of the movie, the characters were a little over-the-top. It was as if they were trying to prove how much they hadn't changed. I'm sure that this was demanded by the studio to help set the tone of the characters for people who hadn't watched much of the series. However, they settled in nicely and it was true to the show. My only other complaint was technical and may have had to do with our particular theater, but the boom mics were visable in most of the shots.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
