Who knew destruction could be so boring?

The first time they show an airplane taking off while the runway is collapsing is kind of cool. The second time it's "been there, done that" and the third time you see it you're bored.
For a reason unbeknownst to me, they decided that the movie wasn't long enough (trust me, at almost 2 hours and 40 minutes, it was plenty long), and had to rehash all the destruction. I think I was tired of seeing everything blow up about 5-10 minutes after it started.
The storyline and characters are pretty bad, too.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
