Wow!!!! I saw Eclipse at the premiere on Tuesday at 12:01am. The IMAX version last night blew that premiere away! I was weary of seeing the same movie six days later, but the IMAX version really made it worth it.
We saw this movie at 12:01am last night. The screaming girls took a little bit away from the movie, but we enjoyed it immensely!!! Very true to the book, with added one-liners to make the characters funny and more relatable. Can't wait for the final installments!!!
While not as entertaining as the first two, Shrek 3D-the IMAX experience, still shines. My husband, 9 year old and I enjoyed the movie thoroughly. I will say that one particular moment when Puss eats a certain character upset some of the smaller children in the theatre (there was crying) so be careful with young ones who have strong ties to the characters. :) The humor was still there, for both children and adults. Eddie Murphy's donkey and Antonio Banderas' Puss still steal the show. I would recommend this movie to everyone, but I doubt I will see it twice. I will most likely buy the DVD to complete our set.
I was hesitant to see this movie, as I loved the TV series and was afraid that is it didn't live up to the level I was used to, it would ruin my wonderful memories of the best show ever.
NOT TO WORRY!! This movie was unbelievable. Every bit a celebration of all that made SATC a great show. The raunchy humor, the sad relationship drama, the happy relationship drama, the moments that make you laugh out LOUD and the moments that make you smile from the inside out. And of course, the moments that make you blush and want to look away!
If you are an avid fan of the show, then you MUST see this movie. It is the icing on the proverbial cake that was SATC.
