I thought it was an excellent drama with a sensational lead performance by DiCaprio.
It is a film that requires one to think , so, if you're just looking for popcorn entertainment it's not for you.

I felt the film was an excellently done psychological thriller/drama.
DiCaprio's performance was of Oscar caliber
Thought all the supporting cast did an excellent job as well.
The storyline delivered an excellent depiction of one man's journey through the universal themes of sin, guilt, penance, and redemption in one man's life.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I thought it was an excellent thought provoking drama with sensational acting from Winslet and DiCaprio.
Agree with previous review that the film puts the film's characters and the audience through an emotional coster ride, and at its end you may be 'exhausted' , but you feel you've experienced something of quality well worth the ride.

A film that demanded I pay attention to keep up with the plot and my attention was well rewarded with a thought provoking storyline brought to life by excellent performances by DiCaprio, Crowe, Strong , etc.
Would definitely recommend to my friends.
