I mean, this was a fun movie... no doubt about it. But the BEST MOVIE EVER??? No. Not close. The special effects were great, the story was uplifting, the costumes and setting were perfect... but the acting was horrible. Those four kids can't act. And all the scenes where they're confronted with impending doom, standing there, out in plain view of the enemy, looking at each other... must have happened five or six times. It just felt like when they made this movie they knew we would pay to see it... so they decided they weren't going to try hard to impress us. Sure, I'd Netflix it, but not worth my $9.50. This series is NO Lord of the Rings... not even close.
