Something strange is going on with the so-called "reviews" of this so-called "movie".
The movie is a complete waste of time to attend. It has no creativity, it's boring, and because the reviews talk about the "suspense" ... you keep waiting for something that NEVER happens.
Trust me ... this one will go down as a movie based on false hype by reviewers.
This will also show that either the reviewers are getting paid-off ... or they didn't even watch the movie and rather based their opinion on other reviews.
Kudos to the producers for pulling the wool over everyone's eyes and making a quick buck on absolutely nothing.
In fact, after the movie, I looked around and asked a few complete strangers what they thought: all agreed that they felt "taken" and ripped off. Not because they just didn't like the movie ... but because it was promoted (in both the synopsis and by reviewers) as a suspenseful and intriguing "drama".
"The Road" was by far the best post-disaster movie I had ever seen. And while at times it is difficult to watch, the movie does not have senseless violence as so many movies of this genre seem to do. It was realistic and shows both the "good" and the "not so good" side of humanity. It also showed that in spite of everything ... that the "spirit of hope" can survive in the dimmest of times.
