I loved it and my child who hates Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Battlestar Galactica really loved this movie. Maybe my child is finally seeing the importance of the characters and good storytelling. It is somewhat predictable, and not an original plotline to me, but it has some surprises and unique twists.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Okay, so I have to admit I have never read the books. Now I will, though, since I enjoyed the movie very much.
This is great to watch with girlfriends and daughters. I know many people would say that guys would not enjoy it, but I think it would help fathers/husbands to understand all the women in their lives....
Great movie for mothers and daughters to talk about together, too.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Stay for the short scene at the end of the credits...whereas Dark Knight was disturbing and depressive, Iron Man is truly entertaining. There are some violent scenes, so be prepared. Otherwise, enjoy the show.
I love how Gwyneth Paltrow portrayed Pepper...
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This is a dark, disturbing, and depressive movie. It is not a fun and entertaining movie, but one that makes you think about your own ethics, morality, and sense of decency...
There were only certain times that I smiled during the movie: when I recognized the Chicago sites and seeing Morgan Freeman's character at the very end...
Be prepared for the extreme violence...
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Entertaining for an X-File Fan

It is an entertaining movie for those who know the characters well from the TV Episode. It only gets a four-star rating (or maybe I should put three or three-point-five for non-fans) for the following reasons: There were some slow parts to the movie. If you are not familiar with the characters from the TV episode, it also may be rather dull throughout. And finally if you are not into science-fiction or fantasy, it is definitely not for you since many scenes are not possible in real-life.
My favorite parts of the show were not the so-called "science and mystery", but rather the relationship of Mulder and Scully and how others, who do not know Mulder and Scully, treat them. This was the most riveting part of the moive. Thus, this may not appeal to younger viewers (20-30), but maybe to those over 30 or 40 years old. The very things that affect the relationship will always be there (money, career, children, faith, etc). What you love about your partner may very well become what you also hate about your partner. In long-term relationships there will be times you question whether you should separate or not. And there will be those you are attracted to your partner in some form or another.
Lastly, stay until the end-of-credits for quick-laugh.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
