New spin on a Disney classic

I tend not to listen to "critics" opinions of movies because most all of them tend to be off-base. Alice in Wonderland, in my personal opinion, was quite enjoyable all around. One thing the "critics" did get right is that Johnny Depp once again pulled off an incredible performance; the man simply walks on water when it comes to his craft! Helena Bonham Carter plays a deliciously wicked Red Queen - well teamed again with Johnny Depp. Anne Hathaway was also very good with a subtle mix of innocent wickedness bound by complete moral control. Not only did I enjoy the film but so did the sold-out theater audience I sat with. So much for "critics" opinions - what do they know anyway. Good fun for the entire family.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
