This movie was really good. I f I had seen it first without reading the book I would have gave it five stars. Please go out and get the book even if you've seen the movie, it covers all the details about the mothers molestation. Overall I would recommend that everyone see this movie. It wakes you up and lets you know that there are millions of people going through this. It makes you thankful for the life you have. Monique really deserves an oscar for her performance. Mariah even shocked me with how good her acting was.
