Cute Summer Flick

4 stars: Good movie. I took my mom to see the film because we enjoyed the Broadway show so much. I thought the director chose a great cast to bring our favorite stage characters to life. Meryl Streep surprised me with her fantastic ability to belt out the classic ABBA tunes. Pierce Brosnan performed better than I expected, but then again, he's an actor, not a musician--so I say kudos to Pierce for singing on the big screen. The movie was slightly slow getting started but once the humor kicked in, the movie was very entertaining. I suggested to my girlfriends to rent the movie instead of paying to go to the theater, but I definitely recommend seeing it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
