Not only did the movie not do the book justice at all, I felt that someone that would go to the movie without reading the book first would find the movie so weird and cheesy that they would refuse to read the book afterwards.
The acting was extremely poor and not true to the book's protrayal of the characters. The direction was a bit off with the camera angles going every which way and at time moving enough to make the audience dizzy. Also quite a few intense scenes were marked with loud music in the background that was enough to distract. Some of the scences where our Edward was supposed to be charming and dazzling to our Bella, he appeared so awkard that the audience would laugh.

No, I do not recommend this movie.
