Largely disappointing

I am a huge Indiana Jones fan. This film left me feeling let down. I enjoyed the special affects and some of the gags made me chuckle, but it felt poorly edited and disjointed. The frisson that existed between Indiana and his ex girlfriend was no longer there, and they became "happy families" almost immediately. I think the directors could have given us more.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
