Like so many other people have said, it is very helpful to read the book before seeing the movie. I was sad at how much of the book was left out of the movie. Certain parts jumped about 100 pages within seconds, but it was a good movie. 2 hours was NOT enough time, it should have been about 3 or 4, just to ensure what I felt were main points in the book could have been in the movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
