The Family That Preys

This must see movie is a breakthrough for Tyler Perry. We are presented with real people facing problems that, even if we aren't experiencing them, we can at least imagine them.
The relationship between Alice and Charlotte is a beauty to behold. Coming from totally opposite sides of the track, they built a lifelong relationship on their mutual admiration of each other's strength and compassion.
If there is any flaw in this film, it is the lack of background for some of the characters. What happened with Alice's husband? What led to Nick's firing?
Way to go Tyler! We hope to see more of your serious side - even though a dose of Madea can make for a fun Saturday night.
