This movie was disappointing after hearing all of the hype about the author working so closely with the writers. I feel they butchered the pure love that Edward and Bella share. Instead of him loving her and "needing" to be with her, I felt he only wanted to be with her because of his desire to kill her someday. I understand the difficulty of putting a 500 pg book into a 2 hour movie but the movie completely lost all of the little nuances that draws you into their love story. Edward was portrayed as a true monster and Bella just looked like a spoiled teenager falling for the "bad boy". I feel the true core of their love/romance was not portrayed in this movie and I am very saddened by this.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

worth the wait

I was very excited when I heard the girls had finally decided to make this movie and I could not wait till this movie came out. IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT!!!! It was exactly what I wanted and more. It stayed true to the theme and feel of the show and took me on the emotional roller coaster that I have missed since the show ended. Most definately worth seeing and I will buy the DVD when it comes out.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
