You can't go wrong with Angelina Jolie, the cast overall works well. Many of the scenes are far fetched, but you have to go in to it expecting that - it's a major part of the movie. The story is a little weak, but the special effects try to make up for it.
Something just doesn't work with this movie, it doesn't take the same approach as past Pixar films, which makes it hard to digest. The very limited dialouge and story line struggle a little, young kids will either love it or be very, very bored. You'll feel like the only thing you've heard for 90 mins is Wall-EEEEEEEEEEEE.
I'm a big fan of Ed Norton and this is one of his worst performanes. The movie overall was just so-so - it will be what you expected. Some of the special effects are well done, but nothing to write home about.
Jason Statham didn't disappoint - this was a very good movie, definitely worth seeing. It's not going to win any awards, but the complexities of the multiple stories all fit nicely together. The fact that this is a true story is an added bonus and makes the overall experience that much better.
The movie itself was very shallow. The concept was interesting but somewhere along the line the execution fell apart. By the time you see the 3rd or 4th perspective, it's a tired approach. The characters have no depth and there's no support for the events that unfold.
A solid movie worth seeing, it was an interesting ride to watch this kid from MIT lose himself and get caught up in all Vegas has to offer. Spacey and Fishburne played great roles, all the others supported very well.
This was an incredible experience and very well done. Many of the camera angles were close up, closer than if you were in the front row at a live concert. This is a must see and be sure to see it at a theater with great sound.
This is one of those titles that should have gone straight to DVD. There were a couple of funny lines, but overall, not worth seeing. The only "Mad Money" worth seeing in on CNBC at 6:00 ET.
